A reminder I keep making in my coaching practice:the power of not taking offence is far greater than the habit of being offended.
If someone offends you (or even does it accidentally), you don’t have to pick it up.You can leave their comment or behaviour where it lands - like a damp sock or an oily squid squirming at their feet - and walk away lighter.
You don’t have to carry what isn’t yours. The choice is always in your hands.
